Hello and thanks for visiting. This blog was started in the summer of 2014 to share our hikes, travels and food with friends and family. It may look a little barren for now, but over time, it should start to shape up.
The DOUBLE BLAZE
You'll find a double blaze when you're hiking a trail. It's 2 blaze marks on a tree or a rock and when you come upon one, it means there's about to be a sharp turn in the trail. I think there's a lot about hiking to apply to a life journey and in my experience, there have been a few sharp turns in the trail. Getting a heads up before the change in course is welcome warning, don't you think?
